About Our Chapter
Hello my name is Kaitlyn Sweeny and I have been working in Early Childhood Education since 2005.
In my almost 20 years of experience, I have been an Assistant Teacher, Group Teacher, Lead Teacher, a Supervisor of the Infants through Two’s Department and most recently, a Co-Director of Skylands Learning Center. When I started working in the Infant through Two’s classrooms, I knew this was my calling. I worked for many years towards a college degree, received my certification as a Kids Yoga Instructor, and later became a chapter president of CITE.
Recently becoming a mother of two, I am now working to bring more self-care into my everyday life by becoming a Yoga Instructor. This is my life’s journey! It allows me to bring my natural gifts to my friends, family and my community.
I hope you are able to become part of the Northeast Chapter and bring all of what you have learned through your journey of life and Early Childhood Education.
